The China Day and the “CEINEX Financial Markets Forum” on 16 November 2016 form a central part of the 19th EURO FINANCE WEEK, which is Europe’s largest meeting point for the finance and insurance industry taking place in Frankfurt am Main/Germany from November 14-18. China Europe International Exchange AG (CEINEX) is proud to announce H.E. SHI Mingde, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Germany will inaugurate the China Day.

With the official inclusion in the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in October 2016 the Renminbi (RMB) was awarded the status of a global currency. The RMB is only the fifth currency achieving this status and this inclusion mirrors the crucial international importance of the Chinese currency. As the global economy is changing fast, also China’s economy is undergoing enormous structural changes and rebalancing while at the same time maintaining its momentum as one of the most important motors in the global economic advancement.

Within 4 session and several keynote speeches at our all day forum, about 30 high-level international experts will share their insights and debate on hot topics such as SDR inclusion, the New Silk Road, market liquidity, trading across time zones, regulatory issues and Chinese financial markets reforms.

More than 150 Chinese, German and international guests from financial service providers, market regulators and academics will attend the CEINEX Financial Markets Forum, allowing all participants (guests as much as speakers) to discuss with their peers and take home valuable new information and opportunities.
