Frankfurt a.M. / Germany, September 29, 2021 – China Europe International Exchange AG (“CEINEX”) welcomes the launch of the VanEck Vectors New China ESG UCITS ETF on its marketplace in Frankfurt, which is a part of the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
With the new VanEck Vectors New China ESG UCITS ETF, global investors can invest in a selection of optimal companies from this dynamic new economy in China, filtered by ESG criteria, and benefit from the extensive transformation of the Chinese economy.
The new ETF tracks the MarketGrader New China ESG Index, which consists of the 100 most fundamentally sound companies that are domiciled in China, with the best growth prospects in China's new economy sectors, in the Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Health Care and Technology sectors. In addition, the companies selected into the Index are compliant (above median performers) with ESG criteria based on the OWL Analytics, a data analytics company consensus ESG Score (“OWL ESG”). OWL ESG covers over 25,000 companies globally, publishing metrics monthly that are aggregated from hundreds of independent ESG data sources. OWL ESG scores and ranks all companies in its coverage universe across thirty core metrics, including 12 key performance indicators that quantify company behaviour across Environmental, Social and Governance factors.
