Frankfurt a.M./Germany, October 1, 2023 - the 3rd China-Germany High Level Financial Dialogue was concluded by Chinese Vice Premier HE Lifeng and German Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner in Frankfurt Germany. Both sides recognized of CEINEX as an important platform to promote China-Germany and China-Europe financial cooperation, and reached consensus within the Joint Statement announced in China A-Shares index derivatives.
The Joint Statement announced: Both sides are willing to jointly support the business development of CEINEX, including listing A-share index futures and options and increasing efforts to procure the timely completion of assessments related to such outstanding licenses.
Mr. Niels Tomm, CEO of CEINEX, said: “CEINEX, as a Sino-German joint venture, builds a bridge between the European and Chinese capital markets to serve issuers and investors from both China and Europe. In this regard, the governments of China and Germany have provided CEINEX a promising direction for China A-Share index derivatives."
