CEINEX — Exchange Traded Funds Derivatives
Futures and Options on Xtrackers Harvest CSI300 ETF New Derivatives Ways to Trade China
The first CEINEX Exchange Traded Funds Derivatives are now available for trading.
Starting from 20 February 2017 the Futures on Xtrackers Harvest CSI300 ETF are tradable by international investors during regular European trading hours.
Complementary to the Futures contracts, Options on Xtrackers Harvest CSI300 ETF are planned to be introduced soon, offering investors alternative instruments and strategy opportunities.
The Futures and Options on Xtrackers Harvest CSI300 ETF are the first China A-Share related derivatives in Europe, which not only offer investors efficient and transparent risk management for exposure in the Chinese financial market, but also expand the possibilities to apply cross-asset and cross-market trading strategies. Due to the high correlation to other China indices, such as SSE50, MSCI China A and FTSE China A50, investors are now able to hedge China A-Share market related index investments as well as respective ETF exposures.
The Futures and Options are launched in cooperation with Eurex and listed and traded in the Eurex Exchange Traded Derivatives market. Within this cooperation, CEINEX, the initiator and product designer, is responsible for product marketing as well as promotion of the trading volume, customer relationship management, while Eurex undertakes the listing, trading organization, clearing and settlement of the products.
* The Options contracts are planned to be launched following the launch of the Futures. More detailed information incl. launch date will be announced by CEINEX and Eurex respectively
